* The introductory special is a pre-set program and is only available to Las Vegas residents who have never had dance lessons before. Valid only for lessons and classes taught by Dance Elegance staff, and parties held by Dance Elegance. (Excludes classes and events held by independent teachers or organizations.)

Private Lessons

Private lessons are 55 minutes, by appointment, with just you, or you and your partner. Private lessons are for any dancer with more than just a casual interest in dancing. Private lessons give you the style, technique, personal attention, and understanding of dance that you simply cannot get in group classes. Rapid and dramatic improvements in your dancing are obtained with private lessons, so if you want to get really good, really fast, private lessons are the only way to go.

Other reasons to take private lessons would include catching up with, or expanding on what you are learning in a group class. Or maybe you want to focus on learning or mastering just one dance. Also, if you want to compete, private lessons are mandatory.

Group Lessons

A comfortable and fun setting to learn new patterns, or start out learning a new dance. In a group lesson you can learn with others at the same level, and dance with a variety of partners. Although you can get a few of your friends together and schedule an appointment for a group lesson (called a semi-private lesson), group lessons are normally pre-arranged by an instructor to fit his or her schedule. They are scheduled to meet at a specific time and place, are published on some type of calendar or flyer, and are open to any students.

Unless otherwise specified, Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced classes start at the beginning of each month. Each week, the instructor builds on what was taught the week before until the class ends at the end of the month. These classes are closed to new students after the second meeting and it is best to start these classes the first week of the month. The Ballroom/Latin classes before the parties are different. These are designed to be "drop in" classes and they do not build on what was taught the week before. No preregistration is required to attend any class. Just show up 10 minutes early so we can get everyone signed in before class starts. Casual dress is fine for the weekly dance lessons, however, remember that Ballroom dancing is a classy sport so please dress appropriately.

Practice Parties (currently not available, please check back soon)

An afternoon or evening of fun, great music, and dancing. We play a very good mix of Ballroom, Latin, and Night Club dance music. We have a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where you can practice what you have learned in the classes, or just dance and have a good time.
